How to setup Mitel Connect.

To set up Mitel Connect, you’ll need a couple pieces of information from your ShoreTel Communicator Client. Namely the Server Name, your Username, and your Password. Your password will be reset to a global default and sent in a separate email. To get your Server Name & Username, do the following.

Open up your Communicator and click the ShoreTel button in the top left.
In the drop-down menu, click the options button.
In the Windows that appears, click the “Telephony” option on the left hand side.
The Server Name and Username are listed on the right. Be sure to note this down as you will need it later.
Open up Mitel Connect. Click the “Show Advanced” button to see all the fields and enter in the information you noted down earlier as well as your reset password. Make sure “Use Windows Credentials” is not checked. Click “Remember Me” and then log in.
