Unlocking a Locked Patient Registration
If you are unable to register, transfer, or discharge a Patient because someone else has the encounter locked (and you are unable to reach the user that has it locked) follow the below steps.
1. Open “Access Management Office” *You will need to be in a Registration Position.
a. This will be launched from the AppBar.
b. If you need to add this, open your AppBar*, go to customize, and add “Access Management Office” to your list.


2. Once opening Access Management Office, click on the Lock Manager icon.

3. Make sure you have checked “All Users” in the bottom left. Select the patient who’s encounter is locked. Click “Unlock”.
