Cerner 724 Access Downtime Viewer
724 Access Downtime Viewer is a Cerner application that allows you to view patient information during planned and unplanned downtime. This app is only available in the Downtime computer in your area, and you will only be able to find patients that were already admitted when the system went down.
How to login to 724?
- Login to the Downtime computer (red keyboard).
- Click on the 724 Access Viewer icon available on the Desktop and enter
User ID= downtime and Password= Downtime!
- Write your full name, and pick an Audit Reason for accessing the app.
Once in 724, you can:
- View when the information was last updated.
- View the predefined Patient List(s) for your location.
- Do a Patient Search (Search is performed within your Patient Lists(s) only).
- Select a patient and print their chart. You can then choose what to print.
